Matt Lucarello, PTA

14 Years of Experience

Matt Lucarello is a highly experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with 14 years in the field, guided by his philosophy: “Movement is Medicine.” He believes keeping the body in motion—through daily activity or focused training—is vital for both physical and mental health.

With dual licensure as a PTA and Licensed Massage Therapist, plus ownership of a Parisi Speed School franchise, Matt brings a unique, multidisciplinary approach to the AMP team. His expertise spans athletes of all levels—from youth and weekend warriors to Olympians and pros (Gotham FC, USWNT, MLB, NFL)—as well as older adults, empowering them to stay mobile and independent.

Known for his critical thinking and problem-solving, Matt focuses on teaching movement efficiency, not just treating injuries. One of his proudest moments was helping a shy 11-year-old athlete gain the confidence to run with her team. A graduate of Union County College’s PTA program (High Honors) and Rutgers University’s Exercise Science program, Matt also serves on the Boards of Advisors for both UCC and the Morris County School of Technology.
